Every merchant who is looking to accept card payments is required to have a merchant account. It acts as a holding account, typically for 3 working days for the bank to check the authorised funds are correct and legitimate, before being released to settle into a bank account.

Merchant accounts fees vary depending on the volume of card transactions processed and the type of business the merchant is undertaking. At CardTransact, we understand each merchant is unique and we can create a custom fit package to ensure you are provided with the most cost-effective offering.
